As part of her regular “At the Box Office” segment for myChamplainValley, Rotten Tomatoes Critic and Assistant Professor Julia Swift reviewed Hirokazu Koreeda’s recent film, “The Truth.”
“I have to tell you the truth about this,” says Swift. “For the first time in so long, I’m talking about a movie that I really love.”
“The Truth” focuses on aging, honesty, and familial relationships. Swift says it deals with themes such as memory and truth, and whether there is such a thing as absolute truth.
Swift praised the performances of stars Juliette Binoche, Catherine Deneuve and Ethan Hawke.
The film is available on sites like YouTube and Amazon.
