For the graduate symposium, she presented “The Dansak’ and the Danzante Dance Themselves to Death: The Representation of Andean Indigenous Peoples in the National Proposals of Arguedas and Sanjinés.”

Along with her presentation and reading Don Quixote in its original language, she was able to study concepts of race and inter-ethnic relations in Latin America, the history of Spanish language dictionaries, and Spanish modern documentary film. Above is a picture of Howard and her son.
