Future Faces of Game Industry Tour Game Studios

The gaming industry has long been a male-dominated field, but a special group of Champlain female students are working against ccm-articlethat notion. Twenty-four student supporters and members of the Women and Diversity in Games club visited Vicarious Vision, a subsidiary of Activision, in Albany, New York, and 1st Playable, an independent game studio, in Troy, New York. The visits provided students with invaluable networking connections and an insider look at what it’s like to work at a large and small game studio. The trip included students from multiple majors, including Game Art & Animation, Game Design, Game Programming, Game Production, and International Business.
