Swift Explores 360 VR Film

Regarded highly by colleagues and students in the Filmmaking program in the Division of Communication and Creative Media at Champlain College, Julia Swift, assistant professor of film, has done everything from writing to directing to editing TV and film throughout her career. This past summer, Swift has been able to add 360 video to that list. Working with a team of students as a faculty consultant with the Emergent Media Center (EMC), they were able to develop a prototype that debuted at the South End Art Hop this September. You can learn more about this virtual reality project here.
