Game Studio Senior Show 2016

Screenshot (61)Game Studio Seniors are developing nine games, representing a variety of genres, that are selected to be showcased at the Senior Game Show on April 29, 2016, in the Alumni Auditorium.

The show is one of the College’s signature events. Game industry recruiters from all over the U.S. and Montreal attend to scout emerging talent. They meet with Career Services and EMC staff, game faculty, and College administrators at a pre-show reception. After the presentations, recruiters meet the seniors, try their games, and select candidates to interview the following day. Typically, five to ten seniors are hired from this event.

Screenshot (62)Participating majors include: Game Art & Animation, Game Design, Game Programming, and Management of Creative Media with a specialization in Game Production. Students from these majors work side-by-side all four years of college to create original projects. The collaborative atmosphere ensures that students have learned professional social skills and the mastery of the latest game development expertise.
