This year, several Filmmaking and Broadcast Media Production students were recognized in the Student Production competition of the New England Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATA).
Students won first place or an honorable mention in the following categories: Short form Fiction, Short form Nonfiction, Long form Nonfiction, Animation/Special effects, Photography, and Writing. Champlain students have won in previous years, but these are first time wins in the categories of Writing and Animation/Special effects.
Champlain students competed against students from other New England universities and colleges, such as Northeastern University, Emerson College, Boston University, and the University of New Haven.
