The 2015 CCM year-end student showcase features senior exhibitions, capstone presentations, thesis show, and interactive presentations at the Champlain Ethan Allen Center on Main Street from April 27-May 15.
April 27 – May 9: Student Capstone Group Show
The show will feature Capstone projects from the Game Studio, Graphic Design, Creative Media, and Filmmaking programs. Artist Reception, Monday April 27 from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m. at Champlain’s Ethan Allen Center.
April 29: Student Film Festival
Film students from first-year through senior year will present the work they’ve done over the course of their time at Champlain College. Peer Awards will be given out. The festival will take place at 7:00 p.m. in the Alumni Auditorium. Food will be provided.
May 8: Senior Film Showcase
The Senior Film Class of 2015 will be presenting their final projects. The showcase is open to family, friends, students, faculty, and the general public.
The showcase will take place at 7:00 p.m. in the Alumni Auditorium with a following reception. Formal attire is recommended. Watch the trailer for the showcase here.
May 8: Creative Media BFA Senior Exhibition-Closing Event
The exhibition will run from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Champlain’s Ethan Allen Center.
May 8 – May 15: MFA in Emergent Media Thesis Show.

April 16 – 25: Dimensions: Designers to Makers
Student curated exhibition featuring graphic design students making the leap from 2-dimensional concepts into 3-dimensional sculpture objects using laser cutters and interactive technology.
An artist reception will be held April 16 from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m at Champlain’s Ethan Allen Center.
April 16 – 25: Emergent Media Center Sandbox and MakerLab Team: Interactive Projects
Four impressive interactive digital art installations by the Emergent Media Center’s graduate & undergraduate team including an Oculus Rift based flying game controlled by six foot Icarus wings.
An artist reception will be held April 16 from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. at Champlain’s Ethan Allen Center.
April 16: Graphic Design and Digital Media Welcomes Spring Speaker
The Graphic Design and Digital Media Program is excited to welcome Lance Violette as the 2015 spring speaker. With twenty years of brand-building experience, Violette has guided the strategy and creative development of print and digital campaigns, product design, and visual identities across a diverse array of progressive brands, including Burton, Quiksilver, Anon, Analog, Scott, DC, Hudson Denim and Camelbak.
Violette’s lecture will take place at 3:30 p.m. in the Alumni Auditorium.
April 24: Game Studio Senior Show 2015
Each year, the Game Studio at Champlain College celebrates the work of the graduating seniors at their senior show and recruitment event. Student senior projects and portfolios are showcased for students, faculty, family, and recruiters. This year is extra special as the Game Studio celebrates the 10th Anniversary of the founding of the game development programs.
The show will run from 5:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. Presentations will take place in the Alumni Auditorium. The reception and expo will be held at Arts Riot on Pine St. in downtown Burlington.
