This 20-minute award-winning documentary follows four New York Hudson Valley youth who share their stories and their struggle for passage of the DREAM ACT in New York State which would allow them to pursue their dreams of a college education.

They worked with award-winning filmmakers Robin Romano and Ilene Cutler to bring this film of despair, courage, and perseverance to light in the face of opposition and in the hope for a better future.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with director Ilene Cutler, student Ally Guizler, and Jessica Karki from Champlain’s Office of International Education and will be from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in the Perry Presentation Room at Champlain College.
