Broadcast Alum Win Freedom & Unity Awards

The Broadcast Media Production program in the Division of Communications and Creative Media extends congratulations to three groups of 2019 Broadcast Media Production graduates who won awards for their documentaries that were submitted to the Vermont Freedom and Unity Youth Film Contest.
In the Vermont History and Contemporary Issues category, Schuyler Gann, Hayden Graham and Dan Calcagne won 2nd place for their piece about human trafficking called – In Plain Sight.
In the Vermont Arts and Culture category, Jenna Misra and Olivia Lyons won for their piece  – House Concerts, The Unseen Music Scene.
And in the Personal Stories category, Kirsten Potts and Scout Fischman won for their story about a farmer and permaculture.  Their piece is called – Growing a Vision.
