Amy Nicole Schwartz has Designs on Champlain College
Rising millennial maven, Amy Nicole Schwartz is the design director for the limit-pushing, smash-hit card game, Cards Against Humanity. Schwartz is the first speaker in the new CCM Division’s Speakers Series in collaboration with the Graphic Design Program at Champlain College.
On Monday, Sept. 26, the Chicago-based designer will be sharing her expertise in the design industry with the Champlain College community. She will speak at 3:30 p.m. in the Alumni Auditorium and the event is open for all to attend.
Schwartz is coming to Champlain thanks to Suzanne Glover, the program director of the Graphic Design program in the Division of Communication and Creative Media (CCM).
Glover describes Schwartz as “a powerful female, highly engaging,” as well as “an instigator and initiator who is breaking all the design rules.”
Schwartz will also be working with students in the Graphic Design Capstone class for seniors and students in the MFA in Emergent Media during her visit.
During Schwartz’s time at Cards Against Humanity, she has executed several projects including, “Eight Sensible Gifts for Hanukkah,” “Science Ambassador Scholarship,” and “Hawaii2.” All of these projects can be found on her online portfolio http://www.amynicole.co.
