AIGA VT Chapter Begins Graphic Design Mentorship Program

For the first time, eight senior graphic design students will be paired with eight local mentors in a mentoring program run by AIGA Vermont. Jonathan Mikulak, who is the AIGA Vermont Education Director, is piloting the program. Mikulak is a graphic design adjunct professor in the Division of Communication and Creative Media and is the Senior Designer in the Marketing Department at Champlain College.
The teams will meet at least once a month until Commencement in May 2019, and AIGA Vermont is hoping to make the mentorship program a yearly occurrence for Graphic Design students in all years—not just senior year. The teams are as follows:
Stirling Adams ’19 and Steve Redmond of Rival Brands
Jessica Farnsworth ’19 and Katie Rutherford of Ruthless & Wellington
Joanna Honc ’19 and Dave Barron of Pluck
